Key Resolutions:
Membership Welfare Enhancement The AGM approved a new welfare package for members, including: - Group health insurance scheme - Professional liability insurance - Emergency support fund for members in distress
Secretariat Upgrade Members approved funding for the renovation and modernization of the PSN Rivers Secretariat, including improved meeting facilities and a digital resource center.
Youth Development Initiative A new mentorship program pairing experienced pharmacists with young graduates was approved, aimed at easing the transition from school to practice.
Dues Review After extensive deliberation, members approved a modest increase in annual dues to support expanded programs and services.
Financial Report:
The Treasurer presented the audited financial statements for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, showing: - Total income: ₦45.2 million - Total expenditure: ₦38.7 million - Net surplus: ₦6.5 million - Current reserves: ₦28.3 million
The financial report was adopted unanimously.
